    Chief Executive Officer & Owner

    David L. Kulbersh, MD is the founder, owner, and Chief Executive Officer of Kulbersh Health Screening Services, LLC. Prior to establishing KHSS in 2003, he spent 35 years as a beloved obstetrics and gynecologic physician. During his tenure as a practicing obstetrician and gynecologist in Columbia, SC, Dr. Kulbersh delivered over 4,000 babies and possesses a wealth of experience and expertise in women's health and wellness. In 2013, he made the decision to retire from active clinical practice to focus his full attention on Kulbersh Health, where his passion for proactive health management continues to thrive.

    As the driving force behind Kulbersh Health, Dr. Kulbersh leads with a steadfast commitment to providing accurate, appropriate, and affordable health screening services to individuals across the United States. Through the Kulbersh Health Physician Network, which boasts over 25 licensed physicians practicing in all 50 states, Dr. Kulbersh is proud to extend the reach of quality healthcare services to everyone.

    Dr. Kulbersh is an avid collector of classic cars and a seasoned traveler. He loves exploring new destinations and creating lasting memories with his wife of 47 years, Jane.

    Josh Slade

    Chief Operation Officer & Chief Financial Officer

    Josh Slade is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Kulbersh Health, bringing over 17 years of invaluable experience in the healthcare industry. Since joining Kulbersh Health in 2009, Josh has played a pivotal role in driving the company's growth, overseeing operations, and managing financial responsibilities.

    A graduate of the esteemed Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina, Josh holds degrees in both business and finance. He takes immense pride in his role, ensuring that Kulbersh Health delivers exceptional service to our clients, physicians, their patients, and lab partners.

    Beyond his professional endeavors, Josh enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle with a passion and commitment to sustainable living. With his family, he operates a self-sustaining farm and Grade A Raw Goat Dairy as well as a non-profit Animal Sanctuary where they provide forever homes to animals who have been abandoned, abused, and otherwise unable to be taken care of by their previous owners. This passion for natural, health-conscious living complements his work at Kulbersh Health, creating a balanced approach to personal and professional fulfillment.

  • Gary A. Richwald, MD, MPH

    Gary A. Richwald, MD, MPH

    Medical and Public Health Director

    Dr. Gary A. Richwald is a distinguished expert in communicable diseases, public health, and preventive medicine, renowned for his extensive contributions to healthcare and epidemiology. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University School of Engineering, followed by a medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Richwald furthered his education with a master’s in public health (MPH) specializing in health services research and epidemiology at UCLA.

    Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Richwald has held pivotal roles in public health. He served as Director and Chief Physician of the Los Angeles County STD Program, where he implemented innovative strategies to curb major STI epidemics through rigorous "test, track, and trace" methodologies alongside community-wide awareness and screening initiatives. He has also consulted for pharmaceutical and medical device companies, providing strategic guidance, and served as a scientific advisor to prestigious organizations including the CDC and the California Department of Public Health. Additionally, he advocates with Herpes Cure Advocacy, a national organization dedicated to increasing funding for research and programs addressing the genital herpes epidemic in the United States.

    During the COVID-19 pandemic from 2020 to 2022, Dr. Richwald held multiple critical roles, including COVID-19 Scientific and Health Advisor for the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Union Local 770 and as the Medical Director for Health Equity and Partnerships at the Curative California Vaccination Project, overseeing immunization campaigns for underserved communities.

    Dr. Gary A. Richwald's career exemplifies a profound commitment to advancing public health, combating infectious diseases, and advocating for marginalized communities, making him a highly respected figure in the field of preventive medicine and epidemiology and an asset to KHSS.

    Cindy Titus

    Director of Operations

    Cindy Titus is the Director of Operations at Kulbersh Health, bringing over 30 years of invaluable experience in the healthcare industry. Since assuming her role in July of 2011, Cindy has been instrumental in overseeing various aspects of KHSS operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

    With a background in Marketing and Management, Cindy brings a unique blend of skills and expertise to her role. Cindy’s primary responsibility is to manage accounts receivable and payable for our clients and vendors.

    Outside of her role at Kulbersh Health, Cindy is a master baker and cake designer, showcasing her creative talents and passion for culinary arts. She cherishes spending quality time with her family, finding joy and fulfillment in creating lasting memories with her loved ones.

    Director of Clinical Operations

    Jessica Roof is an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in graduate medical education and healthcare operations. As the Director of Clinical Operations, she plays a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects of KHSS's clinical operations, ensuring our clients receive the ultimate customer service experience. Jessica's background in practice management and her knack for developing systems and efficiencies make her a valuable asset in increasing provider productivity.

    With over 15 years of experience in graduate medical education and more than 20 years in the healthcare industry, Jessica brings a unique perspective to her role. Her degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina underscores her understanding of human behavior, which likely contributes to her effectiveness in supporting clients, providers, and patients alike.

    Outside of work, Jessica finds joy in spending time with her family, particularly her two energetic boys. Her passion for reading, especially indulging in beach reads by Southern authors, reflects her appreciation for leisure and relaxation amidst her busy schedule. Jessica's dedication to her profession and her commitment to helping others shine through both in her professional endeavors and personal pursuits.

    Clinical Care Manager

    Kim Ragle brings a rich and diverse background to her role as the Clinical Care Manager at Kulbersh Health. With two decades of experience spanning various facets of the healthcare field, including hospital-based nursing, medical device sales, surgical ophthalmology, and frontline work during the Covid-19 pandemic, Kim's expertise is extensive.

    Having earned both a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida, Kim possesses a solid academic foundation that complements her practical experience. Her passion for nursing shines through her dedication to educating and building relationships with patients, emphasizing the human connection in healthcare.

    As the Clinical Care Manager, Kim collaborates closely with the KHSS Clinical operations team, provides support to network providers, and ensures quality outcomes in all patient interactions. Her commitment to excellence contributes to the high standard of care provided by Kulbersh Health.

    Outside of her professional responsibilities, Kim finds joy in traveling, managing her children's busy sports schedules, and cheering on Gamecock sporting events. Her active engagement in both work and personal interests reflects her vibrant and dynamic approach to life.

    Department of Health Liaison

    Pamela Slade's dedication extends beyond her role as the Department of Health Liaison at Kulbersh Health Screening Services (KHSS). With over three decades in medical administration and more than 10 years at KHSS, Pam is an indispensable member of our team, known for her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

    In her current role, Pam plays a pivotal role in KHSS's operations by overseeing the timely and accurate reporting of reportable infections as mandated by state and local regulations. Her dedication to maintaining high standards of reporting ensures that KHSS remains in strict compliance with all relevant guidelines, thereby contributing to the organization's reputation for reliability and professionalism.

    Outside of her professional endeavors, Pam finds joy in pursuing her passions. An avid sewist and embroidery artist, she channels her creativity into crafting beautiful pieces. Pam is also a spirited supporter of her beloved South Carolina Gamecocks, enthusiastically cheering them on during football and baseball seasons.

    Pam also enjoys spending time with her five young grandchildren, who bring boundless joy and keep her young at heart. Her dedication to her family mirrors her commitment to KHSS, where her expertise ensures meticulous compliance with healthcare regulations.
